Golf Clinic (Beginner)

This annual clinic series is designed to accommodate relative beginners. No better way to get ready for the upcoming season. Improve your technique. No clubs needed at the first class. Clubs available upon request. Maximum 16 participants. 5 week session. 2 classes per week.

When: Winter, Tues. 4:35 - 5:30pm & Sat. 10:05 - 11:00am, March 4 to April 5
Winter, Tues. 5:35 - 6:30pm & Sat. 11:05 - noon, March 4 to April 5
Winter, Tues. 6:35 - 7:30pm & Sat. 12:05 - 1:00pm, March 4 to April 5
Winter, Tues. 1:05 - 2:00pm & Thur. 1:05 - 2:00pm, March 4 to April 3
Where: First class in classroom ABC, balance in Mezzanine.

Tennis (Beginner)

An introduction to the basic tennis strokes, movement and game strategies for students. No experience required. Racquets provided or bring your own. Maximum 16 participants. 5 week session.

When: Fall, Tuesdays, 4:00 - 5:30 pm, September 18 to October 16
Where: West Campus (Stadium) Courts.

Tennis (Intermediate)

Designed for students who wish to sharpen their game. Content includes a brief review of fundamentals, the introduction of shot variations and the development of a tactical game. Maximum 16 participants. 5 week session.

When: Fall, Thursdays, 4:00 - 5:30 pm, September 20 to October 18
Where: West Campus (Stadium) Courts.

Squash (Beginner)

Improve your game or add a new activity to your repertoire. These programs will fill, so sign up early to avoid disappointment. Eye guards (required) are provided free of charge. 9 week session.

Fencing for Children

Designed for 10 to 13 year olds, this course will provide an opportunity to learn the basic fencing skills, movement, tactics and safety. No previous experience required. Classes will be designed to accommodate both novice and intermediate fencers. Maximum 18 participants. All equipment is provided. Gym shoes required. 9 week session.

When: Fall, Mondays, 6:00 - 7:00pm, September 24 to November 26
Winter, Tuesdays, 5:30 - 6:30pm, January 21 to March 24
Where: McArthur Mezzanine (West Campus)
Cost: $75.00
Note: No classes on October 8, or February 18.

Fencing for Adults

Designed for adults 18 and over, this course will provide an opportunity to learn the basic fencing skills, movement, tactics and safety. No previous experience required. Classes will be designed to accommodate both novice and intermediate fencers. Maximum 18 participants. All equipment is provided. Gym shoes required. 9 week session.

NEW! Advanced Fencing

"Train alongside varsity fencing athletes."
This new elite program initiative is targeted at experienced teenage and adult fencers who seek advanced training in an atmosphere geared toward competition. Fencers accepted into this program will train with the QueenÕs University Fencing team for up to 6 hours per week under the direction of the varsity coaching staff.

The program is restricted and fencers must apply to Hugh Munby, Head Coach Fencing, Hugh.Munby@queensu.ca. (The program is not open to anyone younger than 14.)

When: Fall, September 10 to November 30
Winter, January 7 to April 4
Times: Training Hours, 6 hours selected from:
