Protective Equipment PoliciesFor the safety and protection of all participants, the following policies will be enforced: CSA Certified HELMETS (with protective earpieces) AND FACEMASKS must be worn and properly fastened for:

EYE GUARDS are required for all Intramural racquetball and squash participants. Failure to have eye guards at the commencement of the first game of each match shall result in a single default (if one party is without) or a double default (if both parties are without). No game shall commence without both parties wearing their eye guards. It is the responsibility of the players involved to enforce this policy. All players of contact and collision sports are strongly encouraged to wear MOUTH PROTECTORS. SHIN GUARDS are required for all participants involved in Intramural soccer and indoor soccer. All protective equipment (except Mouth Guards) is available free of charge at the Equipment Service Counters in the PEC and/or arena, upon presentation of one's student card. Failure to comply with the above-stated policies during Intramural play will result in removal of the player from the game and could result in a technical or bench penalty against the offending team. |
