Men's and Women's Triathlon - Hammer & Dash
Kingston, On (November 4, 2006) - The Triathlon team hosted the Hammer & Dash Invitational, the first in the UMS series and members of the Queen's team did very well. In the Female Rookie category Emily Vander Zaag placed second overall followed by Nicole Patterson, Julia Wytsma, Kyra Nabeta in 5th, 6th & 7th place respectively. In the Male Rookie category, Michael Belshaw placed first overall, followed by Andrew Severs in 4th place. Queen's swept the Female Vet category with Laurin Archer, Caitlin Pietras, Agi Zachara and Jennie Aitken placing first to fourth respectively. In the Male Veteran category Queen's again took top honours and the top four positions. Steve Chapman, Tim Chaplin, Alex Gibbs and Kevin Dunbar garnered the top four positions. The team travels to Carleton this coming weekend to participate in the Road Bike Duathlon.
